With New York Comic Con in town, José Andrés is teaming up with Marvel writer Steve Orlando for a special book signing at Mercado Little Spain in Hudson Yards, celebrating the upcoming release of Marvel’s Meals to Astonish: Avengers #1. The signing is open to the public, making it a fun stop for Marvel fans and food lovers alike.
Fifty copies of Meals to Astonish: Avengers #1 will be available for purchase ahead of the official release, along with a limited-edition cover of Spider-Man: Meals to Astonish #1, with José and Steve on-site to sign copies.
The Marvel takeover extends beyond the signing: from October 6 to 11, Mercado Little Spain’s Que Sweet Kiosk is serving limited-edition Marvel-inspired treats, including Spider-Man, Hulk and Wolverine ice creams and donuts, from a strawberry jam-filled Spider-Man donut with a white spiderweb design to pistachio and fig Hulk ice cream with cocoa crumble.
