A peaceful rally (#NYCrestaurantsmarch) set for Monday, September 14th at 9:00 AM at City Hall to highlight local restaurant businesses’ demand for a plan for indoor dining and additional support for the Restaurants Act.

Organized by Mark Fox, Founder of Fox Lifestyle Hospitality Group (White Oak Tavern, The Ragtrader, Street Taco), the rally has already secured support from over 40 restaurant groups, owners and workers including Bobby Van's Restaurant Group, Smith & Wollensky’s, Stout Group, Lillie’s Group, and Mulberry Street Restaurants.

Fox has asked restauranteurs and supporters to come with signs, wearing their uniforms, whites, aprons, gloves and masks to show who these workers are and what they do – ultimately giving a voice to independent restauranteurs and the individual industry workers struggling to support themselves and their families. These people and the industry as a whole need a plan for indoor dining for their livelihood and a future for their businesses.
